Black Bean Tacos
Spiced black beans with all the taco fixings. A satisfying meatless Monday favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 taco shells or tortillas
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Fresh cilantro and lime
Instructions

Heat beans in a saucepan with cumin, chili powder, and garlic powder.

Mash some beans with a fork for texture.

Add a splash of water if too thick. Simmer 10 minutes.
