Miraculous Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (for glaze)

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

    Mix with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Shape into a loaf and place in a 9x5 inch loaf pan or on a baking sheet.

    Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the glaze.

    Spread half the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.

    Bake for 45 minutes, then spread remaining glaze on top.

    Continue baking for 15-20 more minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.

    Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
